The Sandalwood Grove was birthed by OSG at the Blue Moon on June 1st, 2007. We meet to celebrate the Sabbats and Esbats together at our covenstead in Martinez, CA. In addition to our ritual practice, we are also interested in the fine arts, creativity, health and wellness, and the mind-body connection. Our coven has a strong Eastern influence, though we are inclusive and honor the Goddess in all of Her many forms.
Our grove frequently works with the Indian pantheon and its cross-cultural manifestations. Recently we have begun exploring the historic affinity between the deities of India and Japan. We also acknowledge the common mytho-religious roots of the ancient Vedic (Indian) and Celtic cultures, and incorporate those living energies into our magickal practice.
